Hello there! My name is Mary.
I was born and raised in Dallas. I am so proud of my blended family of six wonderful and amazing young women. I love spending time with my family, reading, taking my dogs on hikes, biking, running… being outside in general!
As a therapist, my passion is helping people - especially those who feel overwhelmed by life, confused, lacking in the tools to feel fulfilled and comfortable.
I can help with
boundaries
blended families
suicidal ideation
relationship issues
social skills
stress management
coping skills
mindfulness
communication skills
effective parenting techniques
For adolescents in particular, I can also help with navigating social issues, friendships, positive social media use, self-esteem, and motivation.
I have the specialties and training listed on this page, but more than that, I have the life experience to relate and help. I’ve been through this, I’ve seen it, and I can help you deal with all the bad (and all the good!) things you’re going through.
So, talk to me. Let me be your shoulder. Together, we can rediscover your strength and get you back to feeling in control of your life.
LGBTQ+ affirming. All are welcome!

Kind words shared with me by kind people…
“You always help me see the best in myself when I am down. I cannot thank you enough for being such a supportive rock in my life. Thank you for always being here to listen.”
“You took care of me when I desperately needed to be taken care of. Thank you for listening, for actively listening, for asking questions (which I’ve realized no one ever does). You made me feel safe, and understood, and known. So nothing was ever off limits or too heavy or a burden to say out loud.”
“You’re so positive and uplifting. I know I can trust you with anything. You inspire me so much!”
“Thank you for all of your kindness, guidance, and love you have given to me. You were so kind and guided me through a very rough patch in my life. I know it’s only been one year, but you have given me so much.”
“You have consoled me in my crises, helped me develop as a person, managed my academic chaos and stress, made me aware of my growth and successes as both a student and just a growing teen, and so I mean it from the bottom of my heart and the depths of my soul that you have helped keep me alive. I am so grateful.”
“Thank you for believing in me when I felt like no one else did, and when I didn’t believe in myself. Thank you for pushing me and making me better.”
“Thank you for creating a safe place for me to process and cope.”
“After working with you this year, I finally feel like I can talk about my feelings and stress in a somewhat composed way! I have no doubt that the relaxation exercises you taught me will benefit me the rest of my life. I feel comfortable talking to you about anything! Thank you so much!”
“Thank you for always being an ear to listen. Thank you for being patient with all that I have to say. Thank you for validating that I don’t always have to be OK. Thank you for giving the best advice and teaching me that I need to advocate for myself.”
